I like studying, collecting, and making computer art as a way to inquire into (and optimistically push) the bounds of what is still a very nascent, underexplored and revolutionary form of media. I think of computer art as art that thoughtfully leverages a computer's unique affordances (memory, dynamic behavior, interactivity, networking, etc..) to make pieces that offer ways of seeing and thinking that you can't achieve in any other medium.
In particular I'm interested in using computers to explore longstanding interests in contemporary phenomena such as complexity, intelligence, networks, markets, and more.
